In 2006 David Hunt worked on a series of paintings which he refers to as the 'Limboids'. Having moved back to England from Texas, David had no paintings to exhibit, because all his work was and still is in storage back in the USA.These 2006 'Limboids' had developed over a ten year period from 1996. It was at that time he became disenchanted with his career as an electronics engineer and knew that his predicament had to change. Afflicted with depression David began to make sketches from his immagination, these sketches provided the ideas for the Limboid series of paintings which came to an end in 2007 during the first year of his formal art education at the University of Northampton.
